Education in Bolehland is a big joke. It is systematically being damaged, degraded, destroyed and impaired by the BN government ever since after Tunku. Why? So that the BN leaders kids can be comparatively better than common plebeians.

Why do you think they send their kids to overseas or private schools at a young age! They have no intention of sharing the rubbish education here period. Badawi like the big fool that he is blindly following it but christened it as his way. What joke!

In Malaysia, the Chinese are suppress. Yes, I think so too. Is not so much a matter, whether the rich Chinese entrepreneur made it, but is about our rights as a Malaysian citizen!

As a Malaysian citizen, don't you think that we have the rights to affordable education like anyone else in the world? As a Malaysian citizen, don't you think that we have the rights to assemble, protect our religion and voice our expression?

I can almost guarantee you that the Umno malays treat the Europeans and Japanese better that their own Malaysian Chinese.

Don't the Umno government realize that there are many more Chinese entrepreneurs who didn't made it! There are many who still live below poverty line with no education.

If you attend some of the Umno division meetings or Umno Youth meetings, the amount of Chinese bashing in the meeting is unbelievable.

But if the non-malays were to hold a meeting talking about non-malays rights such as citizen rights or religious rights, immediately Umno brand the non-malays as causing racial and religious tension.

If the malays can't treat their own citizens fairly, how much respect do you think they will earn from the international community!

Obviously some leaders like Mahathir, don't give a shit what international community think of Malaysians, until he needs money or trade, then he will start to bribe.

Robert Kuok, so called richest Malaysian has set up his head office in Hong Kong more than 20 years ago because he knew that he will never be able to expand his business had he continued in Malaysia.

Krishnan, spend most of his time in London. The richest Malaysians now are the AP kings and they are still growing. The malays already control 45% of the KLSE and had it counters like Carsberg, Genting, Guiness, Magnum, Toto, their market share is probably 55%.

Can we publish the names and identify all the nominees and settle the issue once and for all! The people who are suffering are all the poor irrelevant of race.

The malays have been so selfish. Chinese, Indians……….leave Malaysia if you don't like it here that is what malays always say. Malays have to see the fact that they are also pendatang from Indonesia. Even Pakistanis with PR enjoy privileges like malays.

The Orang Asli have been always marginalised. Their option is convert to Islam to live like others. The malays have set in their mind Malaysia and everything belong to them.

Even Indonesia doesn't have such racist category. Nowhere else in the world have bumi/non-bumi double standards citizenship. So what Lee Kuan Yew say is right.

You somebody miss the point here. You always look at the successful Chinese entrepreneur but you didn't look at those non-successful one.

As for the malays, you don't have to fight it out with other competitors. All you need is to join Umno and you will get government project. That in fact is the biggest corruption. The malays are usually the biggest corruptors in most government business.

Let us just say, all Chinese become Muslims. There will still be difference between Chinese and malays. I can still guarantee you that the Chinese will still be more successful, because we don't sit under the coconut tree and hoping for coconut to fall. (As how the late Tunku Abdul Rahman describes the malays.)

Let me tell you, the Japanese, Koreans are also corrupt. But they are still more successful. Corruption is not the major hindrance of the progress for the race. It is the race's self determination and initiative that decide the race progress.

NEP is the biggest legalise corruption practice ever establish in world history. Umno, in the name of malays protector, uses NEP to enrich their families and their friends.

If you are not one of them, malay dude, I pity you. But if you are a smart malay, you should be like Japanese.

Malays have dominated the army, government ministry, government projects, KLSE big capital companies and police. What else do you want? Bungalow house, Mercedez Benz and maybe a money printing machine.

I think Lee Kuan Yew had a point. Yes, we do have ethnic representations in our government, but the problem that lies herein is that they too are corrupt. And it not merely the non-malay politicians who are corrupt, it is all of them, malays or non-malays.

At the end of the day, yes, non-malays are marginalised when it comes down to education quota systems, government employment contracts - that is undebateable. However they are not the only ones. It is the poorer population who are suffering.

Malay and non-malay representations in our government is slacking. For it they are representing no one but themselves. (My Chinese counterparts, do not forget that it is not just non-malays who are emigrating. Malays too are emigrating.)

How many times do we need to keep emphasising this: We must stand together as Malaysians and fight for all peoples rights, not just malays or non-malays.

A voice, one said 'Lee Luan Yew is a racist with malice intentions on the malays from long ago'. But what about our own government?

I don't care many about Lee Kuan Yew. But I certainly do care about our own government and leader, because what they do/say affects all Malaysians. And I am pissed off that I have racist state representatives speaking (not using the opinions of the Malaysians, but using their own fascist racist rationale) in the name of Malaysia.

When they say there is no racial marginalisation in Malaysia, they are lying outright. When they asked Lee Kuan Yew to apologize for his racist remarks, they are being hypocrites.

When they instill policies that favor one race over the others, when they show keris in front of audiences, when they tell other races to shut up, when they……….(ah too many examples, just fill in the blanks la), they are being racists.

And they are publicly showing their hypocritical, lying and racist stands in the name of Malaysia!

Fellow Malaysians, our leaders make all us Malaysians seem like hypocrites and liars and racists. That is shameful and outright unacceptable! (Plus we are getting sucked from all the policies too.)

Let us look at the actual scenario. There are unsuccessful ones in all three major races in Malaysia. Umno supporters will project all Chinese are rich and successful. This is deceit and totally rubbish.

There are some non-malay cronies that got rich but most improve their economic and education level without government assistance. This is hard work and sweat.

I can't explain and I don't know why most malays after all the assistance from government still fail to make the mark.

If one malay can afford to buy properties, why the discount?

Malay or Umno still feel non-malay especially Malaysian Chinese bashing is fun and show superiority. Honestly, this show his inner inferior complex but refuse to accept. If you can't compete even after all the grand assistance, you do bashing!

While it is true that Arab Muslim has major contribution in science in the past - what has the malay Muslim provided?

Remember you can discriminate and wave keris in Malaysia only. Do and try it in other countries - let us see what happen!

Non-malays who can afford to leave or manage to leave Malaysia for countries that appreciate them better they have done extremely well to help their new found home.

The more I look at the old man Mahathir……….I just felt sorry for him.

Let us accept that fair and free competition will not happen in Malaysia soon. It is good. In the long run Malaysia will be left behind compare to other third world.

It is sad and I pity Malaysia with many malays thinking Chinese bashing is the right thing even the so-called highly educated one.

Lee Kuan Yew is great in his truthful remarks about marginalisation of Chinese in Malaysia. Contrary to what Mahathir said, he is very well respected in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and among oversea Chinese all over the world.

His remarks were mentioned in many international Chinese magazines/newspapers, and also news here in England. It is about time for Umno malay leaders to stop the use of outdated terms of bumi/non-bumi.

We, the World Chinese Association is making a formal complaint to United Nations department of protection for minority rights and too China foreign minister about this issue. Don't underestimate the influence of oversea Chinese.

They can have Cantonese, Hokkien, Mandarin and any number of schools that they want. They are paying for them from private donations. It is their money. Malays go to school with government money, which is taxpayers money, and more than 70% - 80% of those who pay tax are Chinese - although they are only about 25% - 35% of the population.

The international language is English and the national language is malay. If the Chinese are left out on these two languages, they suffer not the malays, so why are we so concerned whether they want to learn in Chinese, English or Malay!

Read, words of wisdom indeed. Indeed why should one be jealous if another is willing to pay and work hard according to his wishes. Bravo!

Lee Kuan Yew is a highly respected statesman throughout the world. Bapa corruption Mahathir, well he is been deemed a pariah by his own malay community.

The people who suffer most in this country due to this racist Umno strategy unfortunately are the ordinary malays.

The people who benefit the most are the Umno-malays, BN-goons and of course the handful of crooked non-malay businessmen, who are in cahoots with these politicians to rape the country.

It makes me sad that the malays do not realise the truth about how they are being misguided by the Umno-malays.

Saying Singapore is easy to govern because it is a small country is such a stupid argument. Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru are all much much smaller than Singapore but how do we match them in terms of development?

My advice is that we listen to this Lee great statesman and try to learn from him instead of going into a state of denial.

With all complains about the brain drain etc. Sometimes you just get the impression that the Malaysia government just doesn't bother to make any effort to retain those really bright ones.

To build a mosque is extremely simple. To build another religion place of worship requires applications which may be delayed up to 20 years and even beyond.

What is up with all the hypocrisy?

Malays in Singapore are given special privileges. This is because the government is conscious that they are minority citizens. The special privileges include financial, education and even political representation.

I scored straight As in every single exam I took in Malaysia. I topped my school year after year in every examination. I am active in extra curricular activities etc……….

But because I am non-malay, I have not been appreciated. Another country has recognized my talents and has offered me a generous scholarship. It has been almost 9 years in this foreign country - and it has nurtured me very well. I got all my first choices. I am considering converting my citizenship. I feel very appreciated for my talents here.

Malaysia did not help me when I needed scholarship, funding etc. The other country did and they did it generously. I can proudly say that because of the other country, I am now a very successful researcher in the life sciences field.

I have got all As in my SPM yet I could not enter local university but one the only malay of my school was given scholarship to Japan for further studies!

I studied STPM and not managed to enter local university to study science and surprised to find that the "hot" courses like medicine, law and engineering were taken up by many so-so result malay and lazy malay students!

No wonder patients mistreated, houses collapse, criminals on the street!

Thanks to Lee Kuan Yew for me to work in Singapore. It is equal opportunity here. People work hard and get rewarded and not based on race.

Singapore has almost no nature resources vs. Malaysia, yet it has strived to become a better country in many aspects. Malaysia's nature resources have been wasted by the lazy malays. When other people getting achievement, you ugly malays marginalised the rests.

The original concept of NEP is laudable, but along the way it has been politicised by Umno aspirants. Yes, Tun Razak spelt out it was not to rob A to pay B. The formula was to expand the economic cake.

From what I see there is no sincerity among the malay leadership to uplift the malay masses. To deflect this discrepancy, non-malays are always used as the scapegoat and tarred as a threat to malay interests.

Malaysia needs malays to be successful. But why the great divide within the malay community in terms of income parity after close to 40 years of NEP?

You blame the implementation instead of the policy. But who are the implementers? Not the non-malays by any stretch of imagination. It is all your corrupt leaders robbing you all blind in the name of Ketuanan Melayu.

Again, you have to look at the leaders you have which glaringly show populism to seek self-interest is the mark of their leadership.

Economists of capitalism has long know a non secret recipe of a successful economy is best practised by non-interference of the authorities, a set policy like NEP is bound to failed in the first place! We might as well rely on the rule of communism rather than NEP!

We should from now on apply the rule of totally non-interference free economy in Malaysia economy, government shall only maintain the basic rules of law and providing a basic social net, and its function stop here! Let the economy run as free as it should, by merit!

Look at China and India, how they open up their economy and prosperous! Let the poor countryman to prosperous at later stage, at the meanwhile teach them how to fish, not give them the fish! Sooner or later, they will know how to fish!

You will say it is so painful! Of course, it is painful, but it is the certain and only way.

We can have a very bright country by adopting alternative approach in developing our economy. Racial base economy is not only outdated but also ineffective and not capitalist!

Due to the education policies, most young and intelligent Malaysians have either cross over to Singapore and other countries to further their studies.

In fact a great number of them have been earmarked by the Singapore government before their finals to take up PR status and attractive jobs offered. Some of these Malaysians are actually in Singapore parliament to help the nation to progress.

Actually the fact that smart Malaysians who capable are going to other countries be it Singapore or Australia can be a good thing for the country or for Malaysian Chinese in particular.

Why?

In the age of globalisation, it is important to have roots and contacts around. These bondages among relatives and friends among all Chinese spread around the world can benefit trade in future. It is a form of bridge to better future. Companies headed by Malaysians can in future help each other.

We can never know what the future in Malaysia will be like given the circumstances. So in a way it is a good thing. It is like the old days when Chinese traded among each other in this region.

So stage one export our experts around the world - next connect each other. That is good. One day maybe someone will initiate an association of overseas Chinese Malaysians eh?

Malaysians are not genetically inferior to Singaporeans - we are the same kind of people except for the proportion of various ethnic groups. The reason why many intelligent Malaysians went overseas is due to a government bent on dividing us along religious and ethnic lines.

For too long Malaysians of all ethnic groups have been bamboozled by scoundrels who'd used divisive slogans to enrich their own pockets and the pockets of their relatives and cronies. Malaysians must unite and give the opposition a chance to do better.

Malaysians have been moving to Singapore for many years now and that has been their long term strategy since they allowed tens of thousands of Malaysians to study there.

Lee Kuan Yew did not apologize for what he had said earlier because he believed what he said to the foreign delegates is nothing but only the truth. He went further to say that Singapore never protested over the racist remarks made by the idiot Umno leaders.

Lee, you are a great gentleman unlike the BN idiots.

That letter and the annex sum up the difference in calibre of the politicians in Malaysia as compared to that of Singapore. One in Singapore who is truly a statesman and all the rest in Malaysia are complete idiots. Just wonder why they get elected every election.

The letter from Lee is a further slap in the face for Badawi. Essentially, Lee stood up for what he said and what he said is the truth. Lee only apologizes for causing Badawi discomfort for telling the truth.

How could Singapore be accused a racist while it is not a secret that the government of Malaysia is a practitioner of racism! It is sure hypocrisy in its highest order. Shame on you, Malaysia Bodoh.

Lee did the right thing to release his letter to the media, so that his side of story won't be twisted by those Umno-controlled medias. He actually said he was "sorry" for causing discomfort, but short of an apology.

This whole episode showed how stupid Badawi is. By write a letter, give Lee more avenues to talk and print his letter for all the world to see. For a former foreign minister, Badawi your international diplomacy skill is so pathetic. A true hallmark of a half past six prime minister!

If the malays are not happy in Penang, just leave and go to the more developed states like Kedah, Perlis, Sabah, where you will not be marginalised.

Gerakan, MCA who are reading this, just a simple advise: Leave BN now before you lose more voters.

50 years is enough. Vote DAP or any opposition in your constituency. We must not allow BN to fool us again. Down with BN and have a better future for all Malaysians.

(Opposition leaders and parties should keep quiet. Umno is doing the work for them.)

Smaller parties in BN will be severely punished in the next election for not standing up for their communities and parties interests, and for not taking proper care of the country. Their political survival could be leaving BN and run as independent party.

The malays are just too lazy even to analyze their own predicaments! After 49 years, they are still lamenting on not enough money in their pockets, and they are blaming the non-malays for this.

How further from the truth can this be? The malays should ask themselves how NEP has enriches a minority of malays, mostly the Umno politicians and their relatives and cronies.

That is where their money has gone to, so don't blame the non-malays who have sacrificed so much of their rights for the sake of the malays!

Most political parties are "unbreakable". They will find a scapegoat or common objective/target to unite the party at all costs to hold on to power.

Who cares whether a political party is breakable or unbreakable. They are only there to take care of their members and party interests first, not the ordinary people.

The ordinary people want to see the country and people properly taken care of, e.g. effective and efficient government departments, fair policies, good public facilities and social welfare, increase public safety and less crimes, no corruption and etc.

The Umno Youth act like crazy mobs same as their terrorist counterparts outside the country. They use the loophole in democracy which the little follow the many. Their member are not gullible but just plain evil and vile - they are just waiting for a chance to act.

These can be seen by the future generations in the UPM incidence. The UPM psychos are just the chips of the main Umno Youth block.

This week, I send of a cousin, a friend, a sister and two nephews to the airport who will never return to this country. They are all top graduates or students of top universities in UK and US, some with millions in their bank accounts. These news only convince them they are right and not to look back.

Just today I spoke to an old student of mine who has returned for a short holiday. I asked whether he has secured a PR in Australia and he said yes. I told him to serve there and stay there.

DAP, Gerakan and Keadilan may have to build Penang as a different country. That is the happening if your power is being threatened.

As long as Gerakan, MCA, MIC and other non-Umno in BN, they will never fight for our rights, the Umno say "yes" no one dare to say "not", how do we call it a partnership? Just like a dog following his master.

DAP and other champions of Malaysian rights, please do something about this and don't worry the next election, all the votes will go to you guys.

This is how idiots save themselves for the wrong things they firstly created. By putting blame of others then add more weight to their argument and cause - they think they would neutralise the troubles that is within their own party (Umno).

I tell you, we will end up having another May 13 for sure. Let us vote all of these idiots out if you are truly Malaysians.

I am just wondering how stupid these malays can be. Why are they not asking, after nearly 50 years for which 34 years of the NEP, all under malay prime minister and Umno but yet they can be marginalised and still poor!

Really idiotic thinking, they just don't ask themselves or their Umno leaders but blaming others.

Damn Umno, their denial syndrome, their extremism, their mentality, their self-righteousness. There is no greater curse than willful blindness and obscurantism.

Penang malays want more crutches. It is gimme, gimme, gimme. They do not know how to strive on their own but want handouts.

What about the Umno executive councilors! Were they sleeping all these years! It is the BN state government which is responsible for the state of the malays there. In any case, they will be blaming the chief minister even in 2200 and till eternity.

Umno had critical internal problems for decades. So far they had been able to divert their internal problems by using race and religion at all costs at the great expense of the country.

If one is confident, secure and strong, one do not need to resort to aggression, intimidation and threat to achieve one's objectives. These behaviors are strong signs of failures, insecurity and weaknesses.

Why are Umno Youth acting as if they can do whatever they like and not respect BN component parties and Umno which is the government?

Like in a family, if you don't set a good example for your children to follow, they will not respect you and they will rebel.

The national interests scarified and ordinary people are being used for narrow and selfish party interests for far too long.

This is a sick government. After so many scholarships and after so many years given to the malays, I am wonder why there is still no bright and smart Umno politician to lead Umno?

Anyway, don't want to sound racist but I think the NEP will never achieve its targets with the malays current mentality.
